When ranking players all time, should we throw out the regular season completely?

I would say when I judge a player, I use about 75% playoff, 25% regular season. It is a long season, and a lot of players give half effort a lot of nights. Players always give 100% in the postseason, and if you are dominating in the postseason, when everyone on the other team is give their full effort, that is far more impressive than dominating the regular season, where there are probably a couple players on the other team that don't care as much.
