To top one of my worst weeks ever my 'best friend' pours fuel on the fire. What the heck do I do now?

It sounds like your friend that loves you back (finally) should be a little less selfish. She is leading you on. There isn't really anything you can do, because all three of these situations are up to other people solving their own issues.
