Food getting caught in flaps at the back on my throat?

Idk, but somehow there are chunks of yellowish like plaque I guess getting stuck inside little holes and flaps by my uvula. (Punching bag looking thing). When I swallow or rub my tongue back against it, I can tell if there is anything there. I can like poke it out, and it comes out, easily, and it's been like this over a year. I haven't told but my sister and my boyfriend, and my sisters boyfriend. I don't want to tell my parents or any doctors because I'm terrified about having to get some kind of sugery done or something to stop it. Lately, it's been getting stuck in spots it hasn't before and I can still get it out, without gagging. But now, I can get it out, and then theres more behind it. I brush my teeth plenty. Is this some sort of disease that gets built up in my mouth and comes out of those flaps/pores/holes, or is it food particles that have built up, and have gotten stuck there. I terrified to see a doctor. Please help if anyone is going through the same thing. I'm 16 years old.
